Earlier this academic year, Hog Roast Huyton was contacted by a school in Merseyside to arrange catering for their upcoming summer fair. The school hosts a fair each year during the summer term for families and local people to enjoy. It includes plenty of different activities, including a raffle, tombola, face painting, a coconut shy, glitter tattoos, and much more! There is always so much going on, making it a perfect event for all members of the community to enjoy. As well as the entertainment, Hog Roast Huyton has been hired to provide our Gourmet BBQ menu for people to enjoy. Our catering manager Sam agreed that this was the right menu for the occasion since it includes the widest variety of dishes and has more than enough for everyone to enjoy.
When the day of the fair arrives, the Hog Roast Huyton team will get to the school in the morning and set up our catering station on the playground. This will give us plenty of time to prepare for the 3:00 pm start time. Our menu will include a selection of main dishes, including juicy British beef burgers, succulent pork sausages, halloumi and vegetable skewers, veggie sausages, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls or a gluten-free alternative. For the side dishes, we will be serving homemade chips, sweet potato fries, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of salad dishes. Overall, we are sure that this menu will have something for everyone to enjoy, including guests of all ages!
