Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and what better way to honour the special lady in your life than with a memorable brunch? At Hog Roast Skelmersdale, we’re thrilled to be part of a corporate client’s Mother’s Day celebration this year, where we’ll be serving up a feast fit for a queen!
On the 10th of March, guests will gather for a morning pottery decorating workshop before indulging in a sumptuous Mother’s Day Brunch. With the added delight of a wine tasting in the afternoon, it’s essential that the food service runs smoothly and punctually. Luckily, our catering manager Sam is no stranger to managing events seamlessly, and he’s ready to ensure that every detail is perfect.
Our Alfresco Menu is sure to tantalise taste buds and satisfy cravings. As guests enter the venue’s function room, they’ll be greeted by tables adorned with crisp white tablecloths and elegant floral centrepieces. Each table will also feature a delicious inclusion: our rustic antipasti boards! Showcasing the finest prosciutto parma ham, salami, and a selection of fine cheeses including buffalo mozzarella, Parmigiano, and gorgonzola, paired with artisan breads, these charcuterie boards are always a hit.
For the main course, we’ll be serving our famous whole roasted hog, accompanied by traditional sage and onion stuffing, crackling, and applesauce, served alongside a variety of freshly baked rolls and wraps. And for our vegetarian and vegan guests, our BBQ-pulled jackfruit buns promise to be a delectable alternative.
Complementing the main course, a selection of vibrant salads, coleslaw, and roasted new potatoes will add an extra burst of flavour to the meal. And to end the feast on a sweet note, guests will be treated to indulgent dessert options, including creamy cheesecake and decadent summer pudding.
As the event unfolds, Sam and his dedicated team of Hog Roast Skelmersdale, catering staff will work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every guest leaves with a full belly and a smile on their face.
