With wedding season now in full swing, Hog Roast Prescott has been knee-deep in nuptials lately – and we couldn’t be happier! Helping couples achieve their dream weddings is a privilege we don’t take lightly, so when Erin and Robbie asked for us to help make their big day extra special, our team couldn’t say yes quick enough!
Fully embracing summer, the happy couple had chosen a festival theme for their wedding, and since we know just how to bring fun and festivity to any event with our delicious food and unique presentation, we were perfect for the job.
On Saturday, the day of the wedding, Hog Roast Prescott spent all morning on the Southern Slow Roast Menu, setting up dining furniture and tents, and we even helped with the rest of the decor, which took a load off Robbie and Erin’s shoulders.
When the guests arrived, full of excitement and anticipation, later in the day our team were waiting to greet them with an impressive banquet of BBQ pork butt, Cajun-spiced whole roast chickens, fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs and vegan BBQ pulled jackfruit cobs. Buttery corn on the cob, coleslaw, mixed fries and side salads were added to the menu for variety and depth of flavour, which allowed the guests to mix and match dishes to create their own unique combinations.
As always, our food was cooked to perfection and everyone was talking about how good it tasted. The presentation of each dish was equally impressive; the Hog Roast Prescott team laid out all of the dishes in an attractive and eye-catching way, which meant the guests couldn’t resist coming back for more!
In between enjoying the food and each other’s company, the guests made the most of all the entertainment options available. Feeding into the festival theme, the couple had organised popcorn and candyfloss carts, a few carnival games and a live band to perform their favourite songs, which put everyone in the dancing mood.
It was a fantastic day all round, and we’re ecstatic to share that Robbie and Erin were delighted with the service Hog Roast Prescott provided and felt we offered brilliant value for money. According to them, their big day wouldn’t have felt nearly as special without our help, which is a compliment we won’t soon forget!
