Wedding season has begun, and stag do bookings are coming in thick and fast. One of our recent favourites? Best man Derek pulled out all the stops by hiring a bowling alley and arcade right in the heart of the city for groom-to-be Luke. When it came to the food, he knew that if he wanted to score big with the lads, he had to call in the big guns – and Hog Roast Liverpool fit the bill!
We set up shop right by the lanes, prepping a glorious suckling pig for the crew. As the sweet, smoky smell of roasting pork filled the air, it was game over – the lads couldn’t wait to get stuck in. We dished up melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork, golden crispy crackling, and the ultimate sides: sage and onion stuffing, applesauce, crunchy coleslaw, fresh seasonal salads, and a mountain of sweet potato and classic fries, all with plenty of sauces to dunk, drizzle, and drown your plate in.
Got a vegan in the squad? No problem. We had one on the guest list and made sure he was well fed too with our legendary BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls, loaded with smoky hickory goodness and plant-based ‘slaw. No one’s left out when Hog Roast Liverpool’s around.
Between bowling strikes and arcade battles, the lads devoured the hog roast buffet like champions. Luke had the time of his life, Derek got major best-man points, and the food was the unrivalled MVP of the day.
