We’ve been Merseyside’s top hog roasting crew for more than thirty years (yes, we’re really that old). But like a perfectly cured ham, our team has only gotten better with age. Over the years, we’ve become the go-to for some of the UK’s industry giants, including PM Group, who recently hired us to handle a business event over at their 1100 Daresbury Park premises.
Emma had been tasked with organising a memorable spread for PM Group’s 80-strong team, and knowing that nothing gets people talking quite the way a hog roast does, she asked Hog Roast Warrington to serve our namesake dish. Determined to impress, our catering manager, Sam, took the reins and got started on the meal early that morning. Using our top class roasting equipment and freshly sourced free-range ingredients, Sam rustled up an irresistibly juicy hog roast with all the classic trimmings, including sage and onion stuffing, sweet and tangy applesauce and crispy crackling.
Balancing out the rich, savoury goodness of the meat, Hog Roast Warrington prepared our famous homemade gourmet coleslaw and mixed salad. Plus a huge basket filled with gluten-free and wholemeal rolls and wraps was served on the side for guests to help themselves to. There were even grilled veggie and halloumi kebabs with tzatziki dip and flatbreads to keep the meat-free guests happy!
The PM Group staff were in great order as they packed as much as they could onto a soft and floury roll, creating the ultimate sandwich combo. Most were so impressed that they returned for round two – good thing Hog Roast Warrington always makes more than enough to go around!
