Well, here we are again easing into the final stretch of December with full hearts, messy aprons, and the kind of gratitude you just can’t fake. And really, that’s entirely thanks to you lovely lot. Every celebration you included us in this year – big, small, intimate, or wild – made 2025 a year we’ll be smiling about for a long while.
Of course, one of the real highlights for us was getting to meet so many new faces. There’s something genuinely lovely about watching someone try their very first hog roast feast – that little pause, the nod of approval, the “oh wow” moment. We never grow tired of those reactions. When Hog Roast Merseyside first started out, we hoped we’d get to share our passion with lots of different communities, and this year it felt like that dream really came to life. Seeing people gather around our serving table, chatting, laughing, and sneaking in an extra helping or two… that’s what it’s always been about for us.
And if you’re one of the brilliant families or companies who invited Hog Roast Merseyside back again this year, you’ve no idea how much that means to us. Returning customers are like seeing old friends walk through the door. It’s also one of the best compliments we could ask for and lets us know we’re doing something right.
As for 2026? What can we say; we’re feeling pretty confident that it’s going to be even more epic than this year. Our diary is already coming together quite nicely (if we do say so ourselves). And we are just itching to sink our teeth into whatever the new year has in store for us.
But before we let ourselves get carried away with all the excitement we just wanted to take a quick moment to say a big thank you – no, a HUGE thank you – for choosing Hog Roast Merseyside, for trusting us with your big days (and your quieter ones) and for letting us be a small part of your memories.
