Hard Hats & Hog Roasts: Hog Roast Allerton Caters For A Lunchtime to Remember at Bachy Soletanche

Hog Roast AllertonDid you know that, as well as being Merseyside’s go-to catering provider for private events and functions, Hog Roast Allerton is also a top choice for corporate catering?

From ambitious start-ups to well-known household names, we’re proud to deliver first-class dining experiences for business events of all shapes, styles, and budgets.

Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of being booked by Joanne to serve up our legendary hog roast spread at the Bachy Soletanche Plant Yard.

As a global leader in geotechnics and foundation engineering – specialising in the design, fabrication, and manufacture of cutting-edge tools for the geotechnical sector – it’s fair to say we were pretty excited when this one landed in our inbox!

Tasked with feeding 120 hungry guests, Hog Roast Allerton made sure to arrive on site bright and early, giving us plenty of time to set up the catering gazebo and fire up the grills.

As the free-range hog slow-roasted to perfection in our trusty HogMaster, its skin turning more golden with each hour that passed, our caterers made the most of the time by focusing their attention on the side dishes. Along with a full hog roast with all the trimmings, Joanne had requested our special gourmet coleslaw, a seasonal salad and a tomatoey pasta salad.

Hog Roast AllertonWe poured just as much care into the accompaniments as we did the star of the show, serving each side in rustic bamboo bowls, complete with fresh garnishes for a beautifully presented spread. A towering basket of gluten-free and wholemeal rolls and wraps was also laid out, giving guests the freedom to build their perfect sandwich.

By the time lunchtime finally rolled around, the atmosphere on site had shifted. Tools were downed, chatter picked up, and a queue quickly began to form at our station.

Hog Roast Allerton sprang into action, making sure every guest was served a generous helping of freshly carved hog, crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and their choice of sides. Judging by the smiles, and the steady stream of second helpings, it’s safe to say the spread was a big hit with everyone!
