here and, by differently, we mean we adapt to our customers’ needs – not the other way around. We know that not every client wants (or has room) for hundreds of guests. And, sometimes, the best celebrations are small, cosy and intimate. That’s why we have no minimum (or maximum) guest requirements and no matter the size of your event, our catering team will put in the same amount of effort to ensure you get the most out of your get-together.
Last month, Hog Roast Ambleside was hired by Barnfield Construction’s chief executive to serve our delicious hog roast for 17 guests at his home in the local area. Our catering manager, Sam, was excited to be of service and determined to serve an unforgettable meal, he arrived at the client’s home hours ahead of the serving time to give our free-range hog enough time to slow roast over a low flame.
The results were truly exceptional – everyone said so! The meat, so soft and tender that it practically melted in the mouth, the crackling so crisp is snapped with a lovely crunch and the applesauce sweet and sharp enough to cut through the rich, savoury flavours, proved to be the perfect combo. Especially when tucked onto a freshly baked bap!
As well as the pork, guests were impressed by the variety of sides Hog Roast Ambleside included. Tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed salad and coleslaw added something light and refreshing to the feast, while the potato option and marinated chicken thighs offered something rich and irresistible that guests couldn’t stop coming back for.
We even had the veggie and vegans eating out the palm of our hands (not literally, but almost!) with our flavour-packed plant-based alternative that smelled and tasted just as good as the meaty main!
The client was thrilled with the outcome and the guests had a blast, proving that if you want an event done right, look no further than Hog Roast Ambleside!
