Things are hotting up here at Hog Roast Kendal – and we’re not just talking about the weather! Our services are in extremely high demand lately, which means plenty of exciting events for us to look forward to.
Next week, we’re booked in to cater for South Lakes Housing’s staff fun day and, let’s just say, the workers are in for a real treat.
As part of an independent, not-for-profit housing association, the staff at South Lakes work hard all year round, developing affordable homes for rent and sale across Cumbria and North Lancashire. They’ve more than earned a day’s rest, and so we’ll be meeting up with them at Netherfield Cricket Club on Friday the 25th of July for a day they won’t forget.
There’s sure to be plenty of activities and excitement to keep the guests busy. But those expecting a tasty meal are perhaps in for the biggest treat.

We’ll make sure the guests have plenty to tuck into. From homemade beef burgers made from top-quality British beef and succulent buthers sausages to Thai-style chicken kebabs and sticky ribs that’ll have people licking their fingers clean, this menu really does have it all.
Even the veggies and vegans are sure to be in their element as Hog Roast Kendal’s incredible BBQ-pulled jackfruit sliders topped with plant-based ‘slaw and meat-free burgers will be on the menu.

This time, we’ve been asked to rustle up a selection of coleslaw, seasonal green leaf salad, mixed sweet potato and classic fries with salt, vinegar and sauces, plus plenty of gluten-free rolls to pile everything onto.
